This role is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual machinist equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses Fabricate and repair parts used in paper mill machinery Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment Follow all safety procedures and company policies Work closely with maintenance and production teams QualificationsPrevious machinist or industrial manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools Basic math and mechanical skills Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods BenefitsConsistent daytime schedule (no weekends) Stable work environment Opportunity for long-term employment and skill growth IND30
