Trainify Labs is building the AI coaching platform for sports. Our app turns any phone into a real-time AI basketball coach that watches an athlete train and corrects them live through their earbuds. Starting with basketball, expanding into other sports and skill verticals.Small team, real ownership, ships fast. These are internships are starting first with academic credit, with a path to a paid role if it's a mutual fit.Role Description:Bay Area preferred, remote consideredWork on the models that make the product work: reinforcement learning, pose tracking, shot detection, and biomechanical analysis running on-device in real time. You'll improve accuracy in hard conditions like outdoor courts and low light, and build the data pipeline that makes the model better with every workout.Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, experience with pose estimation or object detection. iOS, Android, or on-device inference a plus.
