This seasoned seller will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth across VERSANT's premium portfolio of CTV/AVOD, digital, social, and experiential assets .The Senior Director will be responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets by cultivating senior-level relationships with key clients and agencies, driving new business development, and delivering innovative, cross-platform solutions that unlock the full value of the VERSANT ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive significant advertising revenue across VERSANT's portfolio, including CTV/AVOD, digital, social, sponsorship, and custom integrationsMeet or exceed annual revenue targets through strategic account management and aggressive new business developmentOwn and manage relationships with senior-level decision-makers at major agencies and client organizationsIdentify and develop strategies to penetrate key accounts and high-growth categoriesLead complex negotiations and close high-value, multi-platform dealsDevelop customized, insight-driven marketing solutions that align with client business objectivesPartner cross-functionally with marketing, research, strategy, planning, and ad operations teams to respond to RFPs, develop proposals, and execute programs flawlesslyClearly communicate expectations internally and externally while managing multiple high-priority accountsLeverage audience targeting, data capabilities, and performance measurement tools to articulate the value of VERSANT's advertising offerings across CTV, streaming, digital, and social platformsServe as a thought leader within the marketplace, representing VERSANT with credibility and executive presenceMentor junior sellers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales cultureBasic Requirements10+ years of media sales experience, including CTV/AVOD, digital video, social, sponsorships, and custom partnershipsProven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing large, complex dealsDemonstrated success in prospecting, generating leads, and converting new business opportunitiesStrong experience building and maintaining senior-level client and agency relationshipsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceDesired CharacteristicsDeep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including CTV, streaming, audience-based buying, and cross-platform monetizationStrong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into compelling sales narrativesEstablished network of senior agency and brand decision-makers in either the LA or NYC marketExceptional negotiation, presentation, and storytelling skillsEntrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate autonomously while thriving in a team-oriented environmentHighly organized, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving marketplaceDemonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class client solutionsAdditional Job RequirementsHybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from our NY office a minimum of 3 days per week.This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.Salary range: $185,000 - $225,000 base + commissionAs part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with a VERSANT Media employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
