For our client, we are seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer (Ruby/Vue.js) Monetization Engineering: Purchase to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.This role will focus on building and improving the full purchasing experience, with emphasis on transactional flows that directly support revenue generation. You will partner closely with Product and Design to deliver resilient, incremental solutions that improve the buying journey while maintaining a strong standard of quality, reliability, and testing. The position also involves guiding technical direction, reducing technical debt, and helping shape safe integrations across billing and CRM-related systems.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $152,800 – $259,200 annuallyResponsibilities Design and build features across the entire purchase journey. Lead the technical design for a unified purchasing experience. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to create resilient solutions. Ensure safe integration of purchase flows with billing and CRM systems. Establish and maintain engineering standards for code quality and testing. Mentor other engineers and provide constructive code review feedback. Identify and mitigate technical debt in the purchase process.Qualifications 5+ years of fullstack development experience, specifically with Ruby on Rails and Vue.js. Proven track record of leading technical direction for product areas. Experience designing transactional flows in billing or subscription-based systems. Strong emphasis on incremental and safe feature delivery with direct revenue implications. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical issues. Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment. Knowledge of third-party billing or CRM systems is a plus.Benefits Health, finance, and well-being support benefits.
