COMPANY NAME: CONFIDENTIAL ROLEPOSITION TILE TITLE: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONSPAY: 80-90KSCHEDULE: [Required Sundays] Monday - FridayLOCATION: EAST MEMResponsibilitiesLead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory controlOversee transportation and driver operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveriesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while enforcing OSHA and company safety standardsMonitor inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency within a non-racked warehouse environmentHire, train, coach, and develop employees to support operational success and team growthAddress employee performance concerns and promote accountability across the operationImplement and maintain SOPs while driving continuous improvement initiativesTrack KPIs, analyze operational performance, and identify opportunities for increased productivity and cost savingsManage warehouse budgets and support overall facility performanceCollaborate with offsite leadership while independently managing day-to-day operations at the local facilityRemain accessible after hours when business needs require supportQualifications2+ years of experience as the senior leader of a small distribution center OR 3+ years leading a department within a multifunctional distribution centerExperience in warehouse, transportation, and inventory operations preferred; strong experience in at least two areas requiredProven ability to lead from the floor and support teams in a hands-on environmentStrong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsExperience improving operational performance and implementing SOPsComfortable working independently while reporting to offsite leadershipProficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning Google-based systems and warehouse technologyFlexible schedule with the ability to support operations after hours when needed
