Position: Warehouse Inventory Control Driver
Location: BCDPHX
Qualifications:
Previousexperience in freight forwarding, warehouse operations,logistics, or transportation preferred
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
Ability tolift upto 75lbs.
Strong communicationand organizational skills
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and shipment tracking systems
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and punctualityrequired
Experience with air freight, ocean freight, orfinal-milelogistics
Knowledge of inventory management systems
Familiarity with shipping documentation and cargo handling procedures
Experience operating cargo vans, box trucks, or forklifts
Work Environment
This position involves both office and warehouse environments and may require working outdoors during pickups and deliveries. The employee must be comfortable working in physically active conditions and handling time-sensitive freight operations.
Responsibilities:
Freight Forwarding Operations
Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments
Prepare and process shipping documentation, including airway bills, manifests, invoices, and delivery receipts
Communicate with airlines, carriers, warehouses, brokers, and customersregardingshipment status
Schedule pickups and deliveries
Track shipments and provide shipment updates to customers and internal teams
Ensure compliance with TSA, DOT, customs, and company procedures
Warehouse Duties
Receive, inspect, and process incoming freight
Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
Palletize, label, wrap, and prepare freight for shipment
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
Operateforklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
Assistwith cargo inspections and shipment verification
Inventory Control
Maintainaccurateinventory records and shipment tracking
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
Monitor inventory movement and report discrepancies
Ensure proper labeling and storage of cargo
Update warehouse management systems and spreadsheets accurately
Driving Responsibilities
Perform local pickups and deliveries using company vehicles
Ensure freight is secured and transported safely
Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
Maintainaccuratedelivery records and proof of delivery documentation
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
