This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for hands-on seasonal work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. As a Production Technician 1, you will rotate through key production areas, including fruit grading, drumming/filling, blending, and sanitation.Pay Rate: $15 per hourShift / Hours: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday @7:00am to 3:30pm, possible Saturday (If needed))Seasonal: January thru April, with a possibility to come back in the fall / winterKey Responsibilities:As Production Technician 1, you will perform a variety of essential production tasks including:Filling and emptying 55-gallon drumsGrading and sorting fruit according to quality standardsAssembling, packing, and stacking product boxesWrapping pallets for shipmentOperating and monitoring production machineryAssisting in blending operationsLabeling products accuratelySetting up the production line with materials and suppliesMaintaining clean and sanitary work areasLogging daily production activitiesMonitoring equipment and reporting issues to the supervisorDrug Free Workplace & Safety Expectations:Adhere to all company policies and standard operating proceduresMaintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Notify supervisors of any irregularities or equipment concernsComply with all OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF requirementsSupport ongoing efforts in food safety, quality assurance, and non-GMO complianceParticipate in audits and the annual review of the Food Safety Management SystemReporting Structure:This position reports directly to the Shift Manager.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required13 months of related experience in a production or manufacturing setting preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFlexibility to rotate between various production rolesWork Environment:Exposure to moving machinery, wet/humid conditions, and variable temperatures; May be exposed to chemicals, airborne particles, and loud noise levels; Protective gear and safety protocols are requiredPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands; Frequently required to climb, bend, or crouch; Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs frequently; Visual requirements include close, peripheral, and color vision, with depth perceptionThis job description is not intended, and should not be construed, to be an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions as associated with a job.
