They work under the general supervision of a Radiologist. They handle both ambulatory and hospitalized patients in a Physician Office or Clinic Setting. This is specific to Maternal Fetal Medicine as requested by a physician or other licensed provider. They work under the general supervision of an MFM Specialist Physician for assessing and diagnosing pregnancy conditions. This follows established protocols. This position must effectively explain procedures to patients. They ensure patients are relaxed and at ease during the exam. They provide care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation. Qualifications Education - Grad of an Accredited Program Experience - Less than 1 Year of Experience Certification/License/Registration ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S), Reg Diag Med Sono-Abdomen (AB) (RDMS-AB), Reg Diag Med Sono-OB/GYN (OB) (RDMS-OB): Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers ARDMS (OB/GYN) or (AB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (S). Fetal Echocardiography (FE), Fetal Nuchal Translucency (NT): Fetal Echocardiography (FE) or Nuchal Translucency (NT) within 1 year of hire.
