The CNA will provide compassionate and high-quality care by assisting patients with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, feeding, and other essential tasks. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and recording vital signs, administering prescribed medications under supervision, and communicating any health concerns or changes to the healthcare team. The role focuses on ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while maintaining a safe and clean environment.QualificationsBasic caregiving skills, including patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and nutritional support.Competency in measuring and recording vital signs, input/output, and assisting with medical procedures under supervision.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Knowledge of safety protocols, infection prevention standards, and emergency response procedures.Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in compliance with Texas state regulations.Prior experience in caregiving or nursing assistance is preferred, particularly in healthcare or long-term care settings.Physical stamina and emotional resilience to provide compassionate care in demanding environments.Commitment to patient dignity, confidentiality, and high ethical standards in caregiving practices.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobilityPRN role with travel up to 40 miles within the Houston areaAvailability to work weekends (required), with flexibility for weekday shifts as neededMonitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient conditionProvide support with feeding, toileting, and repositioning patientsMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environmentFollow all healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with nursing staff and care teamsAdditional Information Weekly payFlexible scheduling based on availability and facility needsOpportunities for consistent hours and ongoing assignmentsOpportunity to earn up to $250/month in bonuses based on shift availability and performance
