Family Medicine Residency Faculty PhysicianWe are a nonprofit private healthcare system with seven hospitals located in South Carolina, currently in search of a Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician for our Cheraw site. Our esteemed, unopposed residency program provides community-oriented training within a 517-bed regional referral medical center, which includes a 40-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.The flexible structure of our program allows for the exploration of various special interests, such as:Evidence-based medicineQuality improvementCare for underserved populationsHospital medicineCritical careProceduresGeriatricsOB and women's healthPediatricsInternational missionsPhysician leadershipWe are looking for candidates who are passionate about teaching comprehensive family medicine. This position offers opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and development.Key ResponsibilitiesThe faculty role encompasses:Teaching and supervising residents in both outpatient and inpatient environmentsProviding direct patient care in the outpatient clinicConducting didactic teaching sessionsDeveloping curriculumMentoring residentsEngaging in scholarly activitiesHaving dedicated administrative timeWe are seeking one faculty member to join our expanding program.
