Position Title: Senior Accountant / SAP SME ConsultantLocation: HybridAssignment Type: TemporaryCompensation: $45-$55/hourWork Schedule: M-F 9-5Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)Job Description:We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant / SAP SME Consultant to support an upcoming SAP S/4HANA go-live initiative. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong ERP experience who can bridge the gap between Accounting, AP, Procurement, and system processes during a critical implementation phase.This is not a technical SAP developer or IT consulting role. The team is specifically seeking someone with a strong accounting and accounts payable foundation who understands how transactions flow through the ERP system and can help validate data, troubleshoot issues, and support operational readiness ahead of go-live.Responsibilities: Support accounting and AP operations tied to an upcoming SAP S/4HANA go-live initiative Review and validate AP, procurement, and purchasing transactions within SAP to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with vendor and customer master data cleanup, validation, and maintenance Partner closely with Accounting, AP, Procurement, and Operations teams to resolve transaction issues and improve workflows Participate in system testing, process validation, and troubleshooting activities during implementation efforts Help identify inconsistencies, reporting issues, and transaction discrepancies within the ERP environment Support the creation of SOPs, process documentation, and workflow guidance for end users Utilize advanced Excel skills for reconciliations, reporting, and data analysisRequirements: 5+ years of accounting, AP, or ERP-focused accounting experience Strong SAP or Oracle or Netsuite experience required; SAP S/4HANA experience highly preferred Background in accounting operations, AP workflows, reconciliations, or financial transaction review required Advanced Excel skills required Experience supporting ERP implementations, go-lives, or system transitions preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilitiesEEO Statement:Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
