Physical Therapist Location: Harvey, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,498 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:00 - 15:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred License: Must hold active state-specific licenses Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: Charge experience preferred; experience in acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities Description: The Physical Therapist will provide care in an outpatient setting. The role requires experience with a variety of patient diagnoses including general orthopedic care, arthritis of the knees and hips, rotator cuff pathology, low back and neck pain, as well as spinal pathologies. Experience with post-operative rehabilitation for cervical and spinal surgeries, total hip and knee replacements is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with cognitive disorders, including multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury. The therapist will develop and implement home exercise programs and provide patient and family education. The patient age groups will include adults and geriatrics. The expected daily census is between 50 to 60 patients. The therapist will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to support patient care. The position may require floating to other departments, contributing to varying patient ratios throughout the day shift.
