We provide competitive pay, strong benefits, and career growth opportunities.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and professional service.Perform general building repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and painting .Troubleshoot and repair appliances and equipment as needed.Conduct routine inspections of properties, systems, and grounds.Maintain accurate records of completed work orders.Collaborate with staff, tenants, and vendors to ensure excellent service delivery.Assist with capital projects, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance plans.Identify repair needs and recommend proactive solutions to improve property operations and resident experience.Preferred QualificationsEPA Universal or Type I/II HVAC Certification (refrigerant handling).OSHA 10 or 30 Certification .Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credential (if applicable).Experience with boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems .Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and fire alarms.Familiarity with locksmithing, key systems, and access control .Advanced carpentry, painting, and finishing skills.Experience using Entrata property management software and digital work order systems.Preventative maintenance program development experience.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to train junior technicians.ScheduleFull-time (Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts)On-call rotation requiredLocationMultiple residential properties across Madison, WIJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceExperience:Maintenance: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute:Madison, WI (Required)Ability to Relocate:Madison, WI: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: Multiple locationsSalary/Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00 per hourrecblid virg4wqdx7ewa94pbjenbl7h6ihb7b
