Only W2FULLY REMOTE for now but will be HYBRID once offices re-openShould be able to commute to the Mountain View, CA OfficeInitial assignment is 6 months but high possibility of extension depending on performanceDescription:Contractor will be embedded in the Pure1 Cloud Security team. Candidate will enable tracking of progress for DevSecOps initiatives by pulling metrics and creating dashboards for Security observability.Example work items:Create python script to scrape metadata file in git repositories, and reconcile data against OSS Scanning tools, to check which repos have OSS scan coverageWrite AWS Lambda python function to validate AWS asset tag values. Dump daily data into a relational database (AWS RDS) and create a data-viz dashboard (Tableau or ChartIO or PowerBI) to flag violations.Write a python script to fetch data using REST APIs, transform the data (eg. using Python dataframes), and then write the data into a relational database (AWS RDS / Redshift)Requirements:BS in Computer Science or similar disciplineMinimum 3 years of related experiencePython + SQL knowledge requiredExperience using REST APIs requiredAWS Experience preferred.Experience working in Security / Security adjacent teams is a bonus.
