Warehouse Materials Associate - 2nd Shift
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Assistant. They operate in a large, climate-controlled warehouse environment where efficiency, safety, and attention to detail are essential. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory, supporting the movement and storage of goods, and ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped. You'll work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals while utilizing advanced systems and equipment to optimize warehouse operations. In this role, you will:
Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and safety
Sort, label, and store items according to inventory protocols
Use automated systems and equipment to support warehouse functions
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Perform regular inventory counts and audits
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifting with assistance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic math skills for inventory accuracy
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and walking throughout a large facility
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn inventory management software
Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate forklift and automated storage and retrieval systems, including smart forklifts and self-guided vehicles
Knowledge of safety procedures to minimize damage and delays
Experience performing inventory cycle counts and audits
Good communication skills for teamwork and training
