Electrical Estimator Location: Atlanta, GA (Smyrna — fully onsite)Position Overview:We're partnering with a growing commercial electrical contractor in the Atlanta metro area with a strong track record across multi-family, hotels, schools, and an expanding data center portfolio. They're a lean, relationship-driven team, and this is a senior estimating seat with real ownership. You'll lead two junior estimators and work directly with PMs and company leadership on projects up to $8–10M.The ideal candidate is a commercial electrical estimator who knows how to run a bid and build the GC relationships that keep the pipeline full. Atlanta market knowledge is a big advantage here.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial projects, ensuring accuracy from initial takeoff through final bid submissionLead and mentor a team of two junior estimatorsReview project plans, specs, and documentation to develop comprehensive and competitive estimatesAttend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed to inform accurate scopesDevelop and maintain relationships with general contractors in the Atlanta metro areaCollaborate with project managers and ownership on bid strategy, proposal preparation, and cost optimizationQualifications:Proven experience as an electrical estimator with a strong background in commercial projects (multi-family, hotels, schools, or similar)Familiarity with estimating tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, or comparable softwareExperience with project values in the $5M–$10M rangeStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneouslyEstablished relationships with general contractors in the Atlanta metro — or strong familiarity with the local marketBonus: industrial estimating experienceBonus: experience mentoring or leading junior estimatorsWhy This Role Stands Out:Senior-level seat with direct influence on how the estimating function runs and growsSmall, fast-moving team — no bureaucracy, fast decisions, strong feedback loop between estimators and PMsCompany is actively expanding into data center work, adding a compelling and growing project type to the portfolioFully office-based with minimal site travel — stable, predictable scheduleCompetitive total comp package including gas card and phone allowanceLeadership is accessible, invested in this hire, and ready to move quickly for the right person
