As we expand our operations, we’re looking for a dedicated Insurance Claims Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of vehicle insurance and warranty claims from our Richardson office. Position Overview The Insurance Claims Specialist will handle the end-to-end insurance and warranty claim process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and maximum claim recovery. This is a hands-on, in- person role where you’ll collaborate daily with our Trust & Safety, Fleet, and Billing departments to manage insurance documentation, communicate with carriers, and drive timely resolutions. Key Responsibilities File, monitor, and manage all insurance and warranty claims for vehicle damage, theft, and loss. Communicate directly with insurance companies, adjusters, and repair facilities to expedite claims. Collect and submit all supporting documents (photos, police reports, estimates, repair invoices). Work closely with the Fleet Manager to ensure repairs are initiated promptly after claim approvals. Maintain detailed digital claim records and generate weekly claim status reports for management. Identify recurring issues or insurer bottlenecks and recommend process improvements. Ensure all claims comply with company policy and state insurance regulations. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance claims handling—preferably in automotive, rental, or fleet operations. Strong understanding of auto insurance coverage, adjuster communication, and settlement procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organization. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, and digital record-keeping systems. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
