SHR Talent is partnering with a client in the state of Florida in its search for an Acute Care Registered Nurse. Our client is continuing to grow its acute care nursing teams across multiple hospital-based settings throughout the state and is seeking experienced nursing professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in fast-paced clinical environments.The Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams, and support positive patient outcomes across a variety of inpatient acute care settings. The Acute Care Registered Nurse opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses with experience in hospital-based environments including medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, critical care, emergency services, cardiac care, oncology, and other acute care specialties. The ideal candidate for the Acute Care Registered Nurse role will bring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach to care.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute care hospital settings while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plansMonitor patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and respond appropriately to evolving patient care needsAdminister medications, treatments, and other interventions in accordance with physician orders, hospital protocols, and nursing best practicesCollaborate with physicians, specialists, case management teams, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planningMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical recordEducate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, medications, and ongoing care needsSupport quality initiatives, patient safety protocols, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standardsServe as a clinical resource and collaborative team member within a dynamic acute care environmentQualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, requiredActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensureCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and other specialty certifications may be preferred based on unit assignmentPrevious acute care hospital nursing experience, strongly preferredExperience in one or more inpatient specialties such as medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, emergency services, cardiac care, oncology, neuro, or other acute care settings, preferredStrong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skillsAbility to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environmentsExcellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teamsThis is an opportunity to join a respected healthcare environment with multiple acute care nursing opportunities available across Florida.
