false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONEJOB POSTINGJOB TITLE: Junior Construction Project ManagerDEPARTMENT: ConstructionREPORTS TO: Senior Director of ConstructionPOSITION PURPOSE :The Junior Project Manager provides operational and managerial support to the construction department project delivery and is responsible for coordinating with Project Managers on their project budgets, and schedules, establishing project definition, permitting, costs and approvals with the properties. This position serves as a key internal hub for connecting the construction department to consultants, properties, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction). Success in the Junior Project Manager role requires a practical, efficient, and task-oriented workstyle.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :1. Provide managerial oversight for construction projects2. Assist in pre-construction services such as estimating, project planning, professional reporting, cost updating, and cost reporting3. Build rapport and trust consistently with various parties including trade partners, governing entities, and property level team members4. Create, update, and maintain schedule of projects, tasks, and associated duties regularly including PSR (Project Status Report)5. All other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience is required2. Must have one to three (1-3) years of progressive construction industry experience preferably in a Project Administrator or Project Engineer function3. Must have pricing knowledge as it relates to project plans, budgets, and costs4. Must have a working proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint5. Must have excellent presentation, facilitation, and general computer skills6. Must demonstrate proactive and self-sufficient characteristics on a consistent basisWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :1. This individual primarily works in an office setting seated at a desk for extended periods of time2. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds3. Must be able to travel as directed to properly provide guidance, and Suntex corporate strategy to trade partners on construction related projects and developments4. Must possess a valid driver's license as the individual is required to drive on behalf of the Company to visit various site locations as needed5.
