Supply Planning Manager

The Supply Planning Manager is a leadership position, combining strategic leadership with hands-on decision-making responsibilities.You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:  Lead and mentor a team of Supply Planning Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Set clear performance expectations, provide actionable feedback, and develop individual and team capabilities to meet evolving business needsOwn and scale supply planning processes and systems (Oracle ERP), driving consistency, data integrity, and team adoptionAnticipate and prioritize business partner needs, proactively solving issues before they escalate Own and drive performance against key supply chain KPIs (e.g. fill rate, inventory turns, excess/obsolete inventory), ensuring alignment with business goalsLead cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, distribution, demand planning, and operations to proactively identify and resolve constraints and risksLead monthly S&OP reporting and influence cross-functional and leadership decisions by presenting risks, trade-offs, and actional recommendationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across supply planning, including process automation, data accuracy, and inventory optimizationPrioritize team workload and resources to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic initiativesSupport new product introductions, product transitions, and end-of-life planning with robust supply and demand analysisAct as subject matter expert in supply planning tools and processes, helping elevate team capabilities and system utilizationThe TOOLS you’ll bring with you: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field5+ years of experience in supply planning or related supply chain roles with:At least 2 years in a leadership capacityProven experience with Supply Chain planning tools, software, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authorityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environmentDemonstrates a high level of ownership, urgency, and accountability while fostering a collaborative, candid, and high-performance team environment A collaborative mindset, working closely with internal teams and global suppliersPassion for developing talent and fostering a collaborative team cultureWhy Milwaukee Tool?At Milwaukee Tool, we push boundaries, take risks, and never settle for the status quo.
