Hourly Pay Range:$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Registered NurseLocation: LOH Main- NapervilleFull TimeHours: PM's 3pm-11:30pmWhat you will do:Regularly performs duties of professional nurse which includes assessing patients' condition, developing and administrating patient plan of care, documenting care administered, and evaluating patient care outcomes. Warmly welcomes patients to the unit. Promotes and maintains a safe, therapeutic milieu by providing appropriate supervision and feedback to the other direct care staff. Ensures that rounds are assigned and precaution records completed in real time.Collaborates with the Resource and Referral Department to facilitate patient admissions and transfers. Requests and provides thorough hand off communication upon admission, transfer or discharge and when sending or receiving boarding patients.Interacts with the patient, the patient?s family, and the appropriate health care providers to collect and analyze data regarding the patient?s physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs. Participates in development of interdisciplinary planning process. Ensures that medical problems are incorporated into the treatment plan.Assists in the development and attainment of nursing department goals and objectives; participates in activities to improve department functioning and to enhance own professional competence.Assists in the selection and orientation of qualified personnel to provide optimum patient care; demonstrates the ability to evaluate suggestions and criticisms objectively and wherever necessary undertakes to change behavior or seek further guidance.
