IT Specialist

Responsibilities: Strong PC & Network troubleshooting skills Ability to work with the end users to gather information and resolve issues (excellent people skills a must) Maintain and update IT help desk ticketing system Support and maintenance of backup systems Support and configuration of Apple mobile devices Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting Installation and upgrade of hardware and software Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice Assists in maintaining the Endpoint security software utilized on the network/PC's Assist in maintaining the addition of new users to the network and establishment of rights and privileges Ability to determine computer problems and coordinate hardware and software solutions Traveling to the locations of Saint John, IN, Cedar Lake, IN and Mokena, IL during the work week (company vehicle provided for travel) Education & Experience: Associates (2 year) degree, with a technical major at minimum 2-5 years of system administration experience Proficient in Active Directory/Azure AD, Window Server, MS Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, MS Office 2013/O365, and Apple IOS Good knowledge and experience in building and maintaining internetworked technologies in a multi-location Cisco Meraki environment; a plus Good knowledge and understanding of LAN administration Experience in managing Apple mobile platforms and associated secure connectivity preferred but not required Experience in IP phone system, IP camera system, MS Exchange on prem/online preferred but not required Maintain a valid driver's license Benefits: No on call Competitive pay Medical, Dental, Vision Life insurance & short-term disability 401k with profit sharing PTO & paid holidays Sponsored lunch events Company discounts MISSION - Give our customers what they want, on time and error-free Schillings provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, military status, unfavorable discharge from military status, sex, marital status, disability, order of protection status, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or any other characteristics protected by federal, state, or local laws.
