About Us: Blue Light, Inc was founded and has been operating in Ithaca, NY for over 30 years. We are the exclusive US distributor of a line of over 600 premium, sustainably grown, Chinese medicinal herbs. While we continue to serve acupuncturist, herbalist, and licensed healthcare professionals, we are expanding further into the larger health & wellness markets, including dietary supplements, food and beverage, vet brands and more. We are in a new phase of growth and looking for individuals to grow with us.About the Job: We are seeking a motivated business professional to expand the ingredients and private label wing of the business as an Account Manager. In this role, you will report to the National Sales Manager and be a part of a small sales team dedicated to health & wellness brands as well as manufacturers. Compensation is based on qualifications, and consists of base pay and commission.Responsibilities will include:Direct sales activities for all ingredient and private label sales, taking sales from inbound only to a balance of inbound and outboundSet quarterly sales targets for the team and guide the team in meeting the targetsHelp the team to generate new sales leads and facilitate orders, and provide excellent service to business customers by phone, video conference, and email.Refine our systems and processes for providing quotes, communicating with vendors, and coordinating custom orders for wholesale and manufacturing customers.Further develop our ingredients e-commerce platform to list high quality products from other suppliers and to serve as a sales pipeline for the intended audience.What we’re looking for:A positive outlook and exemplary character.Ability to connect with diverse and professional customers across the US.A trustworthy leader and team player with good communication skills.Organization, attention to detail, and comfort with numbers.Desire for continuous improvement.Skills:Comfort communicating clearly and professionally, in writing and verbally.Good time management ability, prioritizing tasks as needed.Tech savvy and comfortable with excel / google sheets.Experience with E-commerce and CRM platforms.Ability to commute/relocate:Ithaca, NY 14850: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Job Type: Full-time
