One Arizona : Data Coordinator

One Arizona seeks an individual for the full-time position of Arizona Data Coordinator who can bring a strategic and community focused approach to their work. The in-state progressive infrastructure offers partner organizations a range of voter file, data and targeting services. The Data Coordinator is broadly responsible for providing direct support, training and guidance for table led voter contact and civic engagement programs as well as building up the internal data capacity of table partners and their staff. Responsibilities include: Respond to Asana ticketing system requests as assigned by Data Manager or Data Director as related to table tools and data sharing agreements for internal staff and C3 partners. Assist the Data/Director/Data Manager with SmartVAN administration as assigned/needed. Table admin includes managing support requests, creating user accounts, bulk uploads/mapping, survey question/activist code creation, and other Bonterra Suite product requests (e.g. EveryAction). Serve as an additional point of contact regarding the table's other tools and progressive data products, and projects that involve them, including Blocks, TargetSmart, Spoke/Scale to Win, and BigQuery. Work with Data Director and Data Manager, consultants, vendors, staff, government agencies and partners/stakeholders on the acquisition, enhancement, manipulation and management of voter, members or other publicly available data. Support Data Director and Data Manager with Field/Programs data needs. Support Data Manager and Data Director in coordinating data sharing needs with partners and stakeholders for the purpose of program coordination, evaluation, etc. Including GIS/Mapping, trackers/dashboards, turfing, unique URL, and voter verification project data. Be knowledgeable of table's training materials and facilitate platform training and troubleshooting for partner organization and table staff. GOTV support during the 2024 Election; some weekends will be required leading up to the November General. Tasks as assigned by the table Data Director or Data Manager, and serve as a point of contact for various partner data needs and services. Provide additional support to progressive infrastructure staff and other responsibilities as assigned. Develop internal mechanisms to collect ongoing feedback and insights from table partners, as well as assist in training and support for table partner data staff. Qualifications include: An understanding of common direct voter contact programs and at least one cycle of experience using data for program development in candidate or issue-based campaigns. Experience working with people from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities and ability to work with partners with various levels of data expertise. Strong VAN skills are required; familiarity with other progressive online electoral/advocacy tools and constituent relationship management tools is a plus. Familiarity with Every Action is a plus. A willingness and aptitude to seek out and learn new technical skills that will further the mission of the Arizona infrastructure and assist in presenting data to partners in an accessible manner. A diplomatic, professional approach to problem solving while working independently or on a team. Ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively. A self-starter willing to work long irregular "campaign-style" hours and to travel as needed, especially during campaign season (i.e. June through November). The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of persistence and resourcefulness in solving technical and data problems. Ability to communicate effectively, work well under pressure, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines. Salary is $61,860. Benefits include health, including dental and vision, insurance which is 80% employer-sponsored, 401K with Employer matching, 2 paid, Flex Days per month that do not count against PTO/Sick/Personal days accrued, PTO, Sick Days, Personal Days, Bereavement Leave, mileage reimbursement, professional development and office stipends.
