Junior Attorney 📍 Scottsdale / Phoenix, AZ (Remote to start)About the OpportunityWe are partnered with a rapidly growing, vertically integrated real estate investment platform that is expanding its in-house legal team.With a growing national portfolio and active acquisition pipeline, the firm is building out its legal infrastructure to better support day-to-day operations, risk management, and internal stakeholders.This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial environment and work directly alongside senior leadership while gaining broad exposure across legal, operational, and business functions.The RoleThis position is focused on corporate and operational legal work rather than transactional real estate.You will play a key role in supporting internal legal needs across the organization, helping to improve processes, manage risk, and ensure efficient handling of legal matters.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day legal matters across the businessOversee and coordinate litigation matters (primarily general liability / claims)Handle insurance-related processes, including claim tracking and coordinationReview and manage contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, and NDAsSupport internal stakeholders by fielding legal questions and directing matters appropriatelyAssist with employment-related matters and internal policy considerationsQualifications3–5 years of legal experienceCorporate generalist background preferredExperience with litigation management, insurance claims, or general liability matters is highly valuedExposure to contracts, employment-related matters, and risk mitigationIn-house experience is a plus, but not requiredStrong ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentWhat Makes This Opportunity CompellingHigh visibility role working directly with senior leadershipBroad exposure across legal, operational, and business functionsOpportunity to help build and shape an in-house legal functionFaster career progression and responsibility compared to traditional law firm rolesCollaborative, entrepreneurial culture with a growing platform
