Production Supervisor
Supervises Berkeley production personnel at all stages of daily production. Ensures all machinery is in working order and that all production employees have been formally trained for performing their daily routine duties. Ensure employees are always using the proper PPE. Empower employees by providing the necessary visual aids needed for optimal productivity and potential opportunity. Responsible for the overall efficiency of the production department.

Prioritizing production orders
Assembling production resources to meet production demand.
Ensure all production employees have the proper training applicable to their job duties.
Closely monitoring production operations to ensure the safety, quality, and production efficiencies are being met.
Ensure all workstations, materials, and personnel are in place and prepared for the production run.
Acts promptly to communicate and assist in correcting production problems that may arise and notifies the production manager of any irregularities or delays in production.
Communicate with the Purchasing Agent and/or Supply Chain Manager to ensure all materials are provided and ready to meet the production schedule.
Completes required forms and production records and returns completed production orders to the production manager for review.
Maintains required labor reporting by ensuring all direct labor employees are being entered into and out of Insight Works during production runs.
Reviews/corrects Time Off/Vacation requests in PayCom.
Assures that all necessary documentation for raw materials, labeling, and packaging components are correct, and the physical materials have been checked by the quality department before materials are moved to a workstation.
Ensures that direct labor resources are in line with workload.
Conducts one-on-one annual performance reviews for direct reports.
Teams with the maintenance department for any necessary service, such as mechanical, to maintain line operations.
Teams with quality and direct labor reports to ensure that all coding, components, and machinery is set up for the production run.
Works with quality to ensure that all inspections are performed and filed on a regular monthly basis.
Trains direct labor personnel to conduct weekly hazardous waste storage inspection.
Documents and communicates the weekly hazardous waste storage inspections.
Performing disciplinary write-ups and incident reports when necessary.
Regularly reviews and updates SharePoint production schedule.
Perform daily HUDDLE for production personnel each morning.
May assume temporary lead role when Production Manager is absent.
Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Five years of manufacturing experience.
Two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises the production team while communicating and working with all departments and managers within the facility to ensure the safety, quality, and production efficiency of the facility.
Licenses And Certification:
Process safety management, per 29 crf 1910.119
Hazardous waste management procedures, per 40 cfr 265.16

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
