The company’s mission is to produce immersive content that drives action and leaves meaningful impacts.Role DescriptionThe Grant Writer will join Puritano Media Group in a part-time, freelance capacity based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The role involves researching, identifying, and writing grant proposals to secure funding opportunities aligned with the company's mission. Tasks include drafting, revising, and submitting grant applications, monitoring deadlines and reporting requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to align proposals with organizational needs and objectives. Strong emphasis is placed on attention to detail, compliance with funders’ requirements, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. This person will also maintain a database of grant opportunities and funding status updates.QualificationsProven experience in Grant Writing, including drafting and editing grant proposalsStrong Research skills to identify funding opportunities and analyze organization needsEffective Writing and Communication skills to convey clear, compelling narrativesOrganizational and Project Management skills to track multiple deadlines and tasksAttention to detail and ability to ensure all grant application requirements are metProficiency in maintaining databases of grant opportunities and documentationAn understanding of video production, media, or non-profit spaces is a plusBachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
