Underground Duct Bank Technician

Job Description We are seeking experienced Underground Duct Bank Technician to join our construction team. This position involves hands-on field work including conduit installation, concrete encasement, and coordination with excavation. Candidates should have hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following:Assist with installation of underground duct bank systemsInstall and assemble:PVC, HDPE, and rigid conduit systemsConduit spacers, supports, and fittingsHandholes, pull boxes, and manholesSupport concrete-encased duct bank installationsMeasure, cut, bend, and glue conduit to specificationsAssist with trenching, excavation, and backfill operationsMaintain proper conduit alignment, spacing, and elevationsInstall warning tape, grounding, and tracer wire as requiredPull cable and assist with terminations when neededRead and follow construction drawings and field layoutsMaintain tools, materials, and equipment in good conditionFollow all OSHA and company safety policiesParticipate in daily job briefings and safety meetingsIdentify hazards and report unsafe conditions QualificationsMinimum 1-3+ years of underground construction experience.Basic knowledge of conduit installation and underground systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.Ability to use hand tools and power tools safelyWorking knowledge of construction safety standards.Ability to operate construction equipment as needed.Valid driver's licenseOwn your own hand toolsMust be able to learn from On-the-Job training and work well with othersMust be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening Benefits/Culture Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
