That means being responsive, compassionate, and dedicated to building lasting relationships. The Role This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer located in Troy, MI. As a Loan Officer at Charmed Mortgage, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to loan origination, providing exceptional client service, and navigating the complexities of the home-buying journey using our diverse lender marketplace. Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and educate them on the best mortgage products for their needs. Maintain active communication with Realtor partners, providing the transparency and speed they need to win in this market. Manage the loan process from application to closing with a focus on a "stress-free" client experience. Provide exceptional client service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mortgage lending. Consistently achieve monthly loan production volume as specified in the MLO Agreement. Originate residential mortgage loans (Purchase, Refi, Non QM, Reverse, and HELOCs) Work company-provided leads + build your own referral network Requirements Exceptional client service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple loans simultaneously. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all transactions. Minimum of 2 years’ experience originating residential mortgages preferred, but not required. Must have prior experience using loan originating software and MS Office products. Strong product knowledge and underwriting requirements for Conventional and Government (FHA, VA, USDA) mortgage programs.
