Role Description This full-time, on-site Bowfishing Charter Captain role is based in Foley, AL. The Captain will be responsible for leading guided bowfishing tours, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of clients, and managing the equipment and vessel. Key duties include navigating and maintaining the boat, educating guests on bowfishing techniques and safety protocols, and ensuring a high-quality, enjoyable experience for all participants. The Captain will also assist with managing bookings, communicating with clients, and adhering to all local and state fishing regulations. Qualifications Strong boat operation and navigation skills; understanding of local waterways and fishing areasKnowledge of bowfishing equipment, maintenance, and techniquesExperience in customer service, client communication, and providing exceptional guest experiencesAbility to follow and enforce safety protocols and local/state fishing regulationsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills in outdoor and on-water scenariosPhysical ability to manage bowfishing gear and handle physically demanding tasksCurrent boating and fishing licenses and certifications as required by local regulationsFirst-aid and CPR certification is a plusPassion for outdoor activities and promoting sustainable fishing practices
