Business Professional - Sr. Financial Analyst

Primary Job Responsibilities:• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders in delivering on growth initiatives by evaluating ad-hoc business opportunities and developing analytics focused on Inventory management - with a special emphasis on scrap/E&O and material work-order-variance (WOV)• Prepare reporting supporting the overall goal of Frederick Manufacturing site to improve inventory management• Analyze and report on manufacturing and supply chain drivers, and business activity on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis• Support inventory tiger team efforts by preparing reporting and working cross-functionally to ensure actions are attained weekly.• Actively participate in monthly and quarterly business reporting activities• Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as requiredHow you'll get here:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or other relevant area• 3+ years of direct experience in financial analysis and reporting preferably within a large, matrixed organization• Proven ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, include external and internal information, draw conclusions from ambiguous data, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines• Excellent skills with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required; skills with Data Warehouses, COGNOS, are preferred• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, with the ability to work collaboratively to accomplish objectives• Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge strong professional relationships with peers, and upper management• Ability to drive continuous improvement with a successful track record of optimizing processes with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Outstanding organizational skills and can prioritize multiple projects• Self-motivated with a bias for action• Have a commitment to continued learning, show career progression and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities• High level of integrity and ethics• Demonstrates partnership and collaborative approach to work• Knowledge of PowerBI and COGNOS a plusTravel requirements• Less than 5% domestic travel requiredThere is a high potential for this candidate to become an FTE, depending on performance.*** HM is looking for someone heavy in Financial Planning, variance analysis, inventory tracking and working with large sums of Data.
