Zinc Nickel Assistants may be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program*. The Shot Peen Inspectors perform operations in accordance with Military, Industry and OEM specifications. Competitive pay and benefits.**Key Responsibilities** Work closely with experienced Plating Operators to complete work and prioritize tasks for On-Time delivery. Follow technique card, customer Purchase Orders and drawings, and instructions from experienced Plating Operators. Prepare parts prior to operations; use proper tooling and fixtures, when applicable. Legibly sign off on work once completed and Operator Self Verification inspection has occurred. General review of paperwork and Operator Self Verification inspection of job to ensure all previous operations were completed. Notify supervisor and Quality Assurance if any errors. Knowledge of pre and post cleaning surface finish requirements. Familiar with Quality Assurance requirements & rework procedures. Be familiar with engineering drawing notations. Be familiar with safety precautions & know how to avoid injury to personnel. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to drive positive change in productivity, delivery, and service. Be involved in Kaizen events as needed either as a participant or supporter. Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above. Other duties, as assigned.**Qualifica**
