As Stiira continues to scale, you’ll have opportunities to shape our product and processes while expanding your technical expertise.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Software Developer to join Stiira’s engineering team, with a particular focus on integrations with third-party HCM, payroll, and HRIS systems. The role spans full-stack development, integration engineering, AI-assisted development, and client-facing problem-solving. You’ll help deliver new functionality, strengthen existing components, and advance the maturity, scalability, and reliability of the Stiira platform. Our technology stack includes Angular, C#/ASP.NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Azure microservices.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, build, test, and maintain backend services and front-end application components using C#/ASP.NET, Angular, and related technologies. Contribute to new product functionality, application enhancements, defect resolution, and the continued modernization of the Stiira platform. Develop, maintain, and support integrations between Stiira and third-party HCM, payroll, and HRIS systems using REST APIs, SFTP/file-based EDI, and related methods. Configure, test, deploy, and troubleshoot application and integration workflows, identifying root causes and escalating architectural or high-impact issues when appropriate. Use approved AI-assisted development tools and contribute to the implementation, testing, and evaluation of approved AI-enabled features. Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Engineering team through onboarding support, documentation, code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and troubleshooting.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS1–3 years of software development experience, including relevant professional, internship, freelance, bootcamp, academic, or substantial project experience.Foundational proficiency in C# or another object-oriented language, with the ability to apply core programming principles to working software.Exposure to backend API development, front-end application development, and relational databases. Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and common system-integration concepts.Working knowledge of front-end development, ideally Angular or a similar framework.Demonstrated ability to debug problems, learn unfamiliar systems, and communicate technical information clearly.Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.NICE TO HAVEExperience with C#/ASP.NET, Angular, SQL, or Microsoft Azure. Experience developing or supporting integrations involving APIs, SFTP, or structured data files. Coursework, projects, or professional exposure involving AI-assisted engineering or AI-enabled application features. Familiarity with HCM, payroll, HRIS, or other enterprise SaaS systems.
