Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,406 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 0 years of experience required License: Valid Allied license required Certifications: NMTCB, PET Must-Have: Competence in PET and nuclear medicine is required. Rotation weeks of on-call for emergency cases is required. Unit welcomes first-time travelers. Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform procedures related to nuclear medicine. Candidates should be knowledgeable in general nuclear medicine practices. No cardiac procedures will be required for this role. Experience with Siemens PET CT, Siemens, and Philips nuclear medicine cameras is preferred. Responsibilities include performing PET scans, HIDA scans, and various other nuclear medicine scans. The technologist will be expected to handle radioactive materials safely and adhere to isolation precautions. Starting and maintaining IVs, and drawing venous blood are essential skills for this position. The technologist will work with interdisciplinary support from various departments. The work will involve ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Strong communication skills and teamwork will be essential in this role. The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Travelers must be willing to float to similar units within their scope of practice based on facility needs.
