This role is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the integration of Oracle Health (Cerner) modules with VA systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient interoperability across a complex enterprise environment.BenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with matchingPaid Time OffPaid Federal HolidaysKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural drawings of EHRM system components to ensure sufficient detail for overseeing integration of Oracle Health (Cerner) modules with VA systemsDevelop and publish architecture models, diagrams, and other artifacts using client-approved tools (e.g., Visio, Cameo)Provide analysis of technical integration issues and recommend solutions to mitigate riskConduct “what-if” and impact analyses across integration touchpointsDevelop courses of action (COAs), analysis of alternatives (AoAs), and respond to ad hoc technical requests under tight timelinesParticipate in and contribute to technical design reviewsIdentify, document, and report integration risks to leadershipCollaborate across matrixed teams, including data migration, identity and access management, and vendor stakeholdersSupport Agile teams by working closely with federal clients, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholdersRequired QualificationsExperience in Integration Architecture, including HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare integration patternsExperience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, preferably Oracle Health (Cerner) or similar EMR platformsExperience developing DoDAF architectural artifacts, including:System Views (SVs)Operational Views (OVs/TVs)Enterprise Views (EVs)Data & Information Views (DIVs)Proficiency with architecture and modeling tools such as Visio (Cameo experience preferred)Functional domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:ImagingBusiness Operations / Supply ChainInteroperability (InterOps)TelehealthAmbulatory / AncillaryPharmacyLaboratoryStrong experience performing impact analysis and integration risk assessmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting VA, DoD, or other federal healthcare programsExperience working within EHRM or large federal modernization effortsExperience with Cameo Systems Modeler or similar toolsEducationBachelor’s degree in a relevant field requiredMaster’s degree preferred for senior or lead-level candidates$135,000 - $155,000 a yearSteerBridge Strategies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
