System Analyst

Comblack is Hiring: GIS Systems AnalystWe are looking for an experienced GIS Systems Analyst to join a large and well-established public sector organization in Jerusalem.About the Role: The role includes designing new systems, upgrading legacy platforms, authoring detailed functional and technical specification documents, guiding development teams, coordinating infrastructure and QA efforts, leading implementation and training, and conducting system validations as needed.Key Responsibilities:Analyze, design, and specify enterprise GIS and web-based management platforms.Author comprehensive functional (HLD/LLD) and technical specification documents.Guide software development teams and collaborate with QA and infrastructure engineers.Lead deployment, user training, and implementation processes across the organization.Requirements:5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems analysis (mandatory experience in the government/public sector).Proven background in analyzing and upgrading GIS systems or web/intranet enterprise management applications.Certified Systems Analysis Course (minimum 400 hours).Strong SQL proficiency for complex querying, with hands-on experience in Oracle and TOAD environments.Proven experience writing comprehensive specification documents, strong holistic system perspective, with an advantage for prior software development experience.Why Comblack?Comblack is a company dedicated to creating accurate and meaningful connections between people and the right opportunities.
