Veterinary Technician - Animal Medical Clinic

Diagnostic Imaging Veterinary Assistants are required to assist the practitioners and Licensed Veterinary Technicians to the fullest possible extent, to help improve the quality of care given to the patients of Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging and to aid in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of technical work and administrative detail. This position requires flexibility to assist in many areas while timely managing major responsibilities.22-25 hourly, based on experienceFull Time• Monday - Friday 8AM-5PMSupport technicians with inpatient, outpatient, triage, anesthesia, and transport tasksMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in exam rooms, radiology, and CT suitesEnsure PPE is inspected annually and help with general end-of-day and discharge dutiesSupport ultrasounds and other diagnostic procedures under technician guidanceCollect and handle blood and urine samplesOperate and maintain digital radiography units, anesthesia machines, and monitorsRecord treatments, diagnostics, and communications in medical records with proper invoicingdocument all client interactionsReport equipment issues across multiple departmentsAssist Primary Care Providers (PCPs) as neededHigh School Diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant in an Emergency or Specialty animal hospital, dedicated to providing outstanding client service and excellent patient care preferred.Extensive knowledge of veterinary terminology and veterinary procedures.Proficiency in computer applications and basic office equipment.Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.About IEVI: Established in 1999, IEVI provides Diagnostic Ultrasound, CT, and radiographic interpretation service to in house specialty services as well as an extensive network of referral partners that includes Idaho, Central Washington, Montana, and Canada.
