The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with physicians to support accurate neurological assessments.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and continuous EEG recordings for inpatient and outpatient services.Prepare patients for procedures by explaining testing processes and ensuring comfort.Apply and maintain electrodes according to established protocols and standards.Monitor recordings to identify abnormalities and ensure technical quality.Maintain accurate patient documentation and procedure records.Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of EEG equipment.Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital compliance standards.Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams to support diagnostic accuracy.Primary SkillsProficiency in performing EEG procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Strong understanding of neurophysiology and EEG waveforms.Knowledge of patient monitoring and safety protocols.Ability to operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment.Strong communication and patient care skills.Secondary Skills (Good To Have)Experience with long-term monitoring and video EEG.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment with diverse patient populations.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited neurophysiology technologist program or equivalent training experience.Minimum one (1) year of clinical EEG experience in a hospital with outpatient and inpatient services.BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six (6) months of hire.Must obtain board certification in the appropriate function within two (2) years of hire date.Preferred: Two (2) years of clinical EEG experience with outpatient and inpatient services.Benefits/PerksCompetitive compensation package.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.Opportunities for professional development and certification support.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Equal Opportunity StatementPulivarthi Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
