This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure applications and services supporting high-priority customer missions. The ideal candidate has strong software development experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges across a variety of mission and enterprise systems. Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, mission requirements, and overall alignment with customer and contract needs. What you'll do Design, develop, test, and maintain mission-focused software applications Develop backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications Support system integrations and modernization initiatives Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues Participate in Agile development and DevOps activities Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational teams Contribute to secure software development and deployment practices Develop and maintain technical documentation and code repositories Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Minimum 6 years of software development experience Experience with Git, version control, and software development lifecycle practices Understanding of Agile development methodologies Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or automation tools Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes Experience supporting Intelligence Community or government environments Full stack or frontend development experience Relevant technical certifications Strong written and verbal communication skills About Insight Xcite Insight Xcite is a mission-focused consulting firm supporting critical government programs through data-driven engineering, technology, cybersecurity, analytics, and operational expertise.
