Business Development Associate
ProspectBlue is partnered with a content creator and influencer client looking for a Business Development Associate to join its' Los Angeles, CA office!You will be a key member of our rapidly growing client's Sales team and report to our client's VP of Marketing and Sales. Working closely with influencers and content creators, you will be responsible for pitching client services to leads and closing deals. Your primary goal will be to understand the unique needs of influencers and provide tailored solutions to help them manage their finances effectively. Given how quickly our client's firm is growing, you will have the opportunity to grow with the firm and have significant opportunities to take on more responsibilities. We will provide any training to help you learn the necessary skills to perform the job and grow your career. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of influencers and content creatorsPitch our client's Finance's services to leads through calls, emails, and meetingsCreate and present customized proposals to prospective clientsFollow up with leads to nurture relationships and close dealsMaintain and update CRM with client interactions and sales activitiesCollaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and develop sales strategiesTravel and attend influencer-focused conferences and events 2-3x per yearQualifications2 or 4 year degree in Communications, Business, or a related field1-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a service-based industryExtremely strong communication, charisma, and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilitiesProficient in using CRM software and sales tools (Hubspot is a plus)Quick learner to understand and answer questions related to accounting, business formation, and more in relation to content creatorsAbility to travel to multiple conferences each year
