Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Title: Part-Time Office Cleaner / Facilities Maintenance Specialist Reports To: Program Director FLSA: Non-Exempt Status: Part-time Purpose of the Role:We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Cleaner / Facilities Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workplace. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can consistently uphold cleanliness standards with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the office Wipe down desks, surfaces, and common areas Clean and sanitize kitchen/breakroom areas, including counters, sinks, and appliances Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and restocking supplies as needed Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed Lightly clean the interior of company vehicles and remove any trash Maintain and organize the clothing closet, ensuring items are neat, accessible, and properly stored Breakdown and dispose of cardboard boxes and packing materials Sweep pantry floor daily; clean pantry refrigerators weekly Monitor overall cleanliness and report any maintenance concerns Clean interior windows on a monthly basis Special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within scheduled hours Work Environment: Indoor office setting with occasional light vehicle cleaning Consistent, predictable weekly schedule Required cleaning supplies will be provided Schedule & Compensation: Part-time: Approximately 15 hours per week Afternoon hours (flexible start time based on business needs) Compensation: $18.50 per hour
