QA Nurse- Long Term Care

This great opportunity for a nurse interested in both quality assurance and operations will be based in Waterville, Ohio. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Quality Assurance Nurse that will not only focus on Clinical operations but also general operations at our community located in Waterville, Ohio. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety within our community. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing loving care and quality service to our residents and their families. This opportunity has a starting negotiable salary of $90,000. The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday with start and end time flexibility based on need of communities. This position will report directly to our Chief Nursing Officer but will work closely with the building administration on a day-to-day basis. Company paid life insurance No cost Flu and COVID-19 vaccines Responsibilities Conduct regular quality assurance assessments to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness. Monitor patient outcomes and report any discrepancies or concerns. Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance protocols. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care improvements. Assist in developing policies and procedures related to quality assurance. Complete audits of other departments within the community including but not limited to activities, culinary, general operations, over all building presentation in addition to the clinical operations. Requirements Valid Registered Nursing license in the state of Ohio. Proven experience in nursing or quality assurance within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
