Office Administrative ServicesFacilities Support ServicesAutomotive Equipment Rental and LeasingOther Support Activities for TransportationOther Investment Pools and FundsJob Title: Regional Director of OperationsJob Location: Long Beach, CAJob Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)Payrate: $70/ hr. on w2Duties and Responsibilities:Regional Leadership & Strategy:Provide leadership oversight across all operational functions within the region – including Sterile.Processing, Transportation, and Facilities:Lead and develop site-level Directors, Managers, and Coordinators across disciplines.Establish regional priorities, performance goals, and operating standards.Align all site operations with company strategy and regional growth initiatives.Drive operational integration across departments to ensure seamless execution.Operations & Compliance Oversight:Ensure consistent adherence to AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA, and accreditation standards across all sites.Oversee audit readiness, inspection outcomes, and regulatory compliance across functionsStandardize workflows, documentation, and process execution across facilities and teamsMonitor performance trends across SPD, logistics, and facilities, proactively addressing risksLeadership Development & Talent Management:Mentor and coach site-level leaders across all operational functions.Build leadership bench strength and succession pipelines in partnership with HR and Talent.Drive consistent performance management and accountability frameworks.Support hiring strategy and onboarding for key operational leadership roles.Quality, Throughput & Continuous Improvement:Own regional performance metrics across quality, turnaround time, throughput, and service reliability.Lead root-cause analysis and cross-functional corrective actions.Identify and scale best practices across sites and functions.Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and outcomes.Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration:Serve as the regional operational leader in collaboration with clinical partners and health systems.Align SPD, Transportation, and Facilities with customer expectations and service-level commitmentsPartner with internal leadership across Operations, Logistics, and Facilities to drive system-wide improvementsRepresent the region in executive-level discussions, planning, and growth initiatives.Education, Experience and Certifications:Certification in sterile processing (CRCST or equivalent strongly preferred).10+ years of operational experience, with at least 5+ years in multi-site leadership roles.Demonstrated success leading across multiple functions (SPD, logistics, facilities, or similar).Knowledge & Skills:Strong knowledge of regulatory standards across healthcare operations and transport environments.Proven ability to build leaders and drive performance through others.Experience scaling operations in high-growth or multi-site environments.Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and operational leadership skills.Schedule Hours Per Week: 40.00Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
