Library Services Specialist
Providing individualized action research support, the part-time hourly Library Services Specialist will assist graduate students and faculty with scholarly inquiry, develop self-service resources, and collaborate across the university to enhance research and information literacy in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one research consultations to support action research and academic writing conventions
Maintain and update student-facing action research and library support materials while auditing database usage
Support research and information literacy instruction across courses and participate in university governance
Required qualifications
Master's degree in education, library science, or art education required; terminal degree preferred
Two or more years of experience in library service support, preferably in higher education
Expertise in academic databases and digital library systems
Strong understanding of information literacy principles and graduate-level action research practices
High proficiency with instructional technologies and digital learning platforms, preferably Google Suite
