They are seeking a hands‐on accounting professional with strong statutory reporting experience who can manage complex filings and contribute to a deadline‐driven financial reporting environment.Job Title Senior Accountant – 100% Remote (must reside in EST or CST).Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare GAAP and statutory (SAP) financial statements and regulatory filings, including NAIC quarterly and annual statements.Manage general ledger activity: reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, month‐end/quarter‐end close processes.Support statutory reporting requirements and collaborate with actuarial teams to validate reserves, premiums, and claims data.Partner with external auditors and regulatory examiners, assist with premium tax filings and audit documentation.Contribute to system improvements, reporting automation, and special projects such as system conversions.QualificationsLast 5+ years of experience in statutory & GAAP accounting for small to mid‐size Property & Casualty insurance companies.Experience with NAIC quarterly and annual filings.Experience preparing or supporting the Annual Statement (Yellow Book).Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.Preferred: CPA designation.Benefits & Why Join UsHigh‐impact accounting role supporting a growing insurance organization during a critical statutory reporting cycle.Hands‐on exposure to statutory accounting, NAIC filings, Annual Statement preparation, and GL‐to‐statutory reporting.Stable, established company investing in its accounting team to support multi‐entity operations and continued growth.Opportunity to deepen expertise in insurance statutory reporting and complex regulatory financial statements.Lean, collaborative team environment with broad ownership, high visibility, and meaningful contribution to key reporting deadlines.Apply Interested in hearing more?
