This role begins with overseeing the post-vendor transition security and compliance improvements for our ecommerce analytics platform, then expands to manage our HubSpot rearchitecture, US market rollout, and company-wide AI enablement initiatives. This is a high-visibility position requiring strong technical acumen, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to drive multiple complex projects simultaneously.Top 3 Key Accountabilities:Security and Compliance Leadership: Drive security hardening for the eCommerce platform, manage the remediation sprint, and ensure on-time delivery of compliance features.HubSpot CRM Transformation: Strategise and lead the HubSpot CRM rearchitecture, optimising workflows, and integrating systems to enhance the customer view.Technical Market Rollout & Scaling: Oversee the technical execution of US market expansion, coordinating infrastructure scaling, localisation efforts, and managing go-to-market milestones to ensure successful market penetration.Key Responsibilities:Phase 1: Ecommerce Platform Security & Compliance (Weeks 1-7)Oversee and deliver the security hardening remediation effort, including managing a dedicated 45-day sprint for critical fixes.Serve as the single point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and managing expectations.Own daily standups and sprint planning to ensure agile methodology is strictly followed for rapid, on-time delivery.Implement a tracking framework to monitor progress against GDPR/CCPA compliance requirements and board-level risk reduction targets.Directly coordinate with 2-3 developers, facilitating their work on security fixes and compliance features.Manage the technical execution of TypeORM migration and database schema changes, ensuring seamless updates with minimal downtime.Coordinate all necessary AWS Lambda and CDK infrastructure updates required for the security improvements.Phase 2: HubSpot Re-architecture (Months 2-4)Conduct a comprehensive technical audit of the current HubSpot implementation to identify and document optimisation opportunities.Design, document, and oversee the implementation of improved lead routing and scoring systems to increase sales efficiency.Project-manage the technical integration of HubSpot with the eCommerce platform to create a unified, 360-degree customer view.Lead the technical workstreams to optimise marketing automation and sales workflows based on audit findings.Develop and deliver technical training modules for teams on new processes and best practices.Establish and configure project-specific KPIs and reporting dashboards to measure success and demonstrate ROI.Phase 3: US Market Rollout (Months 3-6)Establish and manage a project governance framework for the US market entry, including a clear RACI matrix for all stakeholders.Coordinate all technical workstreams, including infrastructure scaling, API localisation, and regulatory compliance requirements for US operations.Manage go-to-market technical milestones, ensuring all dependencies are tracked and delivered on schedule to support the market launch.Report on key technical metrics, including system performance, user acquisition funnels, and growth targets.Facilitate technical discussions and integration with new US-based partners and vendors.Ongoing: AI Enablement InitiativesDevelop a phased AI adoption roadmap and champion the roll-out of new AI tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.Project-manage the creation and delivery of training programmes and best practices documentation.Identify and scope new process automation opportunities using AI, presenting proposals to the CTOfor approval.Establish a measurement framework to track productivity gains and ROI from AI investments.Foster a culture of innovation by creating channels for team members to share insights and new uses for AI-assisted work.Required Skills and Experience:Demonstrated success in technical project management with over 7 years of experience.Proven leadership in managing security and compliance initiatives from concept to delivery.Extensive practical experience with agile methodologies, including owning sprint planning and execution.A track record of successfully managing multiple complex, concurrent projects under tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders (e.g., marketing, sales).Expert-level skills in risk management and proactive mitigation planning.A solid grasp of modern web architectures, with hands-on experience in AWS Lambda, serverless, and API Gateway.Deep understanding of front-end (React/TypeScript) and back-end (Node.js) development principles.Applied knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and SOC 2 requirements and their technical implementation.Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps best practices.Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with developers on topics like TypeORM, PostgreSQL, and Redis.Direct experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, CDK, CloudFront, RDS) and API integrations (Shopify, Google, Meta).Extensive experience in implementing, optimising, and managing HubSpot or similar enterprise CRM platforms.Practical experience with data integration and ETL processes to create a unified customer view.Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics and reporting tools to drive business decisions.Practical skills in change management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.US Citizens and those authorized to work
