Physical Therapist
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic, with a focus on orthopedics and manual therapy. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology and physiology knowledge, and will be skilled in manual therapy and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with diverse needs, including orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, including myofascial release therapy, to promote patient recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and guidance on self-care and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, and participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology principles.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in manual therapy and patient care.
- Familiarity with neurologic and orthopedic conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
