Information Technology System Administrator

IT System Administrator will provide technical support to end users in a desktop, server and infrastructure environment. Strong analytical, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills are needed to be successful in this position. The ability to support the installation and maintenance of client PC/Server hardware and software with the ability to perform network deployments is required. IT System Administrator will report indirectly to the Site Head / Plant Manager.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to clients both deskside and remotely Correct faults and provide resolution of complex problem ticketsPerform PC and network troubleshooting and upgradesNetwork support and troubleshootingPerform network analysis and capacity planningAssist in the creation of processes and procedures for client network operationsContribute to the administration of network backup and disaster recoveryContribute to the planning and implementation of multiple projectsProvides IT support for Tedor employeesUnderstanding of enterprise IT at the scale and complexity within the pharmaceutical industry.Research new technologies to apply to the organization in the most efficient manner.Create, manage, and implement IT projects while adhering to schedule, scope, and budget.Administrates phone system, data network, security system, and access control.Purchases equipment and applicable service.Participates in contingency planning.Oversees "data center" which holds confidential information and secure data.Develops or updates project plans for IT projects including objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications.Confers with project personnel to identify and resolve problemsAssists in special projects as requested by management.Oversees the deployment of desktops, laptops, monitors, phones, and peripherals as requested.Oversees troubleshooting's and repairs of malfunctioning IT managed equipment such as desktops, laptops, phones, etc.Completes documentation for the IT department as necessary.QualificationsB.S. in Information Technicology Science, or equivalent work experience/certifications (A+, Network+, CCNA, CCSP, MCP, MCSE, and MCSA).Five to Seven (5 – 7) years of work/information technology experience.Excellent verbal and written skills Knowledge of Windows operating systems up to Windows 10 Knowledge of Windows Server is requiredExperience with Microsoft Exchange is requiredUnderstanding of network switches, routers, and firewalls is requiredVirtualization with Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMWare experience a plus.
