Department: Nursing AdministrationEmployment Status:Part-time (0.8)- 64 Hours Per pay PeriodHours:Day Hours: Start time can vary generally around 5:30am-4:00pm or 7:15am-5:45pmPosition ObjectiveThe Staffing Associate organizes and facilitates all staffing and scheduling needs within the nursing department. The staffing Associate is also responsible for assisting the Director of Med/Surg and/or Clinical Directors in time card processing; including review and editing.Essential ResponsibilitiesScheduling SupportAssist Director of Med/Surg/Clinical Directors to prepare master schedulesCoordinate placements of appropriate personnel to fill various shift vacanciesProvide daily maintenance and upkeep with scheduling softwareExpert User in the scheduling softwareCommunicate staff adjustments to Supervisors and Clinical DirectorsStaffing SupportRecord keeper for all vacations, holidays, schedule exchanges, and leave of absences of nursing staffPoint of contact for unscheduled vacancies (sick calls, etc.)Work in collaboration with the Director of Med/Surg/Clinical Directors to ensure appropriate placement of available resourcesMaintain a current list of all employee phone numbersEnter all absenteeism into the scheduling softwareEnter all exception logs into the scheduling softwareOther ResponsibilitiesPerform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive mannerDemonstrate the ability to use relevant equipmentSupport, understand, and promote Alomere Health's mission, vision, values, policies and proceduresAbility to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the departmentFoster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or abilityRequired QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalentPreferred QualificationsHRIS software experienceKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to answer the telephone in a professional mannerAbility to meet the needs of the department by distributing staff appropriatelyAbility to receive extensive training in both time/attendance and advanced schedulingUnion Position:
