Job Title: Part-Time Riding Instructor Location: Family Recreational Barn, Cornwall, NY About Us: We are a family-oriented recreational barn, proudly serving our community for 30 years, focused on providing a safe, fun, and educational environment for riders of all ages and skill levels. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Riding Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. This position involves teaching riding lessons, ensuring the well-being of our horses, and fostering a positive learning environment for our clients. Key Responsibilities: · Teach riding lessons to individuals and groups of various skill levels · Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student · Ensure the safety and well-being of both riders and horses · Assist with horse care and barn maintenance as needed · Foster a supportive and positive atmosphere Qualifications: · Experience in teaching riding lessons, preferably in a family or recreational setting · Experience teaching beginners to intermediate riders · Strong knowledge of horse care and riding techniques · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work well with children and adults · Patience, positive attitude, and must like children Schedule: Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays, part-time Why Join Us: This is a great opportunity for a hardworking individual who wants to earn extra money and be part of a supportive and fun community.
